2010 WSOP Satellites at Cake Poker

Cake Poker has launched their version of the 2010 WSOP promotion, “What Happens in Vegas Is Entirely Up To You!” Satellites are affording Cake Poker players with the opportunity to win $2,500 packages and $12,500 packages to spend in Vegas during the WSOP this summer. With this flexible prize package, winners will be able to stay at any hotel they choose, play in whatever WSOP events they want and even wear whatever they want. In other words, there are no strings attached!

Minus the terms and conditions attached to other online poker room WSOP packages, the Cake prize package doesn’t govern any regulations about how players arrive in Vegas, where they sleep, what they play, or which logos they sport. The not a main event package can be used for the $10K NL Champions, 12 different $1,000 events, or two $5,000 tournaments—it doesn’t matter what you buy into.

Here’s how you can win. Gold Chip and Gold Card qualifiers will award $2,500 and $12,500 prize packages. A five-step SNG satellite series will start at $1 (but players can start at any level for the right price) and award $2,500 WSOP packages. Lastly, Cake Poker players can compete in the $12,500 Finals play on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. ET for $374 or satellite in for as little as $3.

Lee Jones, Cake Poker manager, says, “We are excited about this year’s World Series and are delighted to offer satellites to our players. Our players get to concentrate and focus on their game, instead of worrying about wearing the proper shirt to keep their free hotel room. We will show our appreciation and reward players who choose to wear our gear, but we’re certainly not going to police it. We think our players will appreciate that we want to send them to the WSOP – for the love of the game, not our corporate objectives.”
