Bodog.com Moves to Bodog.eu

May 27, 2011

Out of London, the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, aka MMGG, operating with online gaming license in Kahnawake, Canada has licensed the Bodog.eu domain from BodogBrand.com, the global brand owner as part of an international expansion strategy plan.

MMGG decided to expand at an international level back in December 2010 and has begun working on its basis in Europe. The current Bodog.com domain will lapse and eventually expire after the transition to the .eu address is complete.

CEO of MMGG Alwyn Morris says, “The experience of history tells us not to stand still and we feel this more global domain will appeal more directly to the new markets we plan to enter. We did the deal with BodogBrand.com for the .eu domain last year but are ready to cut over globally now. Like many in the gaming world we will be looking at Asia very closely and there are many markets that Bodog88.com, the brand’s Asian facing licensee, is not interested in. We also have our eyes on some exciting market opportunities in Latin America.”

Beginning this week, global access to Bodog will be via the Bodog.eu address. In addition, Lock Poker has also switched over to LockPoker.eu.
